TCI, a global player in aviation industry in design, certification and manufacturing of cabin interiors, has come to an agreement with SpiceJet to manufacture Galleys of their new 155 B737 MAX aircraft. The deliveries of the program will start in August 2018 and continue until 2024.
SpiceJet, which operates over 335 flights and carries 45,500 passengers daily to 46 destinations, is one of the largest airlines of India with an improving 85% OTP performance and 93.4% passenger load factor, which is the highest in industry. SpiceJet also received “Asia’s Greatest Brands” award at Asia One Awards and “Best Check-in Initiative” by Future Travel Experience global awards recently. With the new aircraft being delivered, it will strengthen its market position.
TCI is delighted with the current deal, which will consolidate its position at the South Asia Market. "TCI’s smart design philosophy brings a light-weight, yet durable galley system” said Hasan Burak Gultemiz, Sales & Business Development Manager of TCI.
TCI, who is a global offerable supplier of Boeing since 2015, was established as a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Turkish Aerospace Industries in 2011, currently designs and manufactures cabin interior products and galley systems for Airbus and Boeing aircraft. TCI’s is now in service with 132 employees in Europe’s largest MRO Center HABOM, Istanbul and aims to be a major player in Global Aircraft Cabin Interior Industry.
